2. How are your services delivered? In-person or online?
MindTree offers both—fully remote (telemedicine) sessions and in-person appointments. Currently, we operate in San Francisco, San Diego, and La Jolla.
3. What conditions do you treat?
we specialize in treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, and insomnia through a blend of medication and brief therapy.
4. Who treats me at MindTree?
The team includes board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners and psychiatrists, such as:
Emily Samuel – Founder & CEO, PMHNP offering holistic psychiatry and addiction care.
Grace E. Collins – PMHNP with extensive experience across populations.

5. How do I start?
Fill out the New Patient Questionnaire on our website.
Wait for review – our team reviews your responses to ensure we’re the right fit for your care needs.
Schedule your first appointment – if appropriate, you’ll receive a link to book a 45-minute initial psychiatric evaluation.
Begin treatment – follow-up sessions will be scheduled as needed for medication management and ongoing support.

6. What are the appointment types and fees?
Initial Psychiatric Evaluation (45 minutes): $395 — assessment and treatment planning.
Medication Management & Brief Supportive Psychotherapy (20 minutes): $195.
7. Do you accept insurance?
Yes. MindTree accepts both self-pay and insurance patients in California.
Insurance plans: Coverage varies by provider and plan; we encourage you to call ahead to confirm eligibility.
Billing: Patients are responsible for any copays, deductibles, or fees not covered by insurance. A superbill can also be provided for out-of-network reimbursement.

Your responses are reviewed. If MindTree can meet your needs, you’ll be invited to schedule a 45-minute evaluation.

10. Did you shift to telemedicine because of COVID-19?
Yes. During the COVID-19 public health emergency, all appointments were remote. MindTree continues to offer both in-person and telemedicine options.
